I knew that Joseph of Arimathea was a righteous and respected mam but I hadn’t realized that he was a member of the Sanhedrin. I guess that is absolute proof that the leaders of the Jews were not unanimously opposed to Jesus. Those landing the Sanhedrin were but not all the members of that governing body were.
