First year complete

I never realized before that the first year of their sojourn in the wilderness was completed before they completed the tabernacle. I also had believed that all offerings were to be of male animals. Now I notice that piece offerings can be make it female animals.

Other things I noticed are that all offerings must be salted and that they were not to burn offerings of the fruit of the field. I had known that offerings of baked goods could not include things which had leaven but I didn’t know they couldn’t have honey either. I knew they were instructed not to eat blood but had not noticed that they were to avoid eating fat as well.
