The Lord talks about a land reserved for the remnant of Jacob and s land reserved for his modern covenant people. I can’t tell how the two sites are related. As I read salt them I was removed of the Nephites who had the church headquarters in Zerahemla but after the destruction at the death of Christ they meet in Bountiful. It occurred to me that having the church headquarters in Salt Lake City but we expect the millennial headquarters to be in Independence. It may be that society breaks down and then members of the church who have paid attention and stayed faithful will know to gather in Missouri. It would parallel the scriptural record.
