Laborers in the field

I’ve never paid attention to this parable before but the Lord calls twelve laborers to the field and signs each to a place in the field then visits each one in turn. He visits an hour with each and labor with them during that hour. The thing I notice is that they labor in their assigned portion for all the hours whether before, during, it often his visit.

Likewise the various areas of labor are too always be staffed and worked even as the Lord personally minds to any one at any given time. We are not expected to be with Him in the area He attends at all times but we are expected to be diligent in the area we work at all times.
