I see the doctrines of section 132 and I’m confident that I understand them but i also see that the way many of those principles are worded probably make more sense to the 19th century mind than to those of us in the 21st century. There are a number of things worded in such a way that we would view as sexist and unfair because things are given from the viewpoint of the man being righteous and if there is a fault it belongs to the woman. I’m confident that the Lord is clear about who is at fault where there is fault but only the case of a righteous man with an unbelieving (in this principle) wife is illustrated here.
