We need (and have needed for a few years) a modern Moroni—someone who can and will rally people to defend their liberty in the face of the threats against it that are becoming every more obvious. When confronted with direct opposition those who followed Amalickiah began to doubt the righteousness of their cause such that Amalickiah was forced to abandon his immediate assault on the Nephite government.
