The brothers of Joseph feared that he would hold a grudge after Israel died even though it had been not than a decade since he had settled them in the best land of Egypt and ensure that they had food. This sounds like Jacob fearing that Esau would still be mad after twenty years of separation. I guess it’s not particularly unusual for people to revisit past hurts for one reason our another. We need to be like Joseph and let those things stay in the past as much as we can.
