Never destroyed save it were foretold

Nativii days that the Jews understood the procedure among their people and that they were never destroyed save it were foretold. I would clarify that not only was it foretold but before it was certain they were warned in every case that they were ripening for destruction. I wonder if we, in this promised land, have the same assurance that we will never be destroyed save it has been plainly (to us) foretold among us that we are turning and that we are ready to be destroyed.
