Nephite General Conference

I picture or modern general conference in the description of the people going up to hear King Benjamin. they pitched their tents in families—we often gather as extended families for conference; every man in his own tent who could not fit within the walls of the temple—within the walls of the temple would be at the Conference Center and “his own tent” would be “his own home”; with the door facing the temple—house divided on conference, gathered around the TV; Benjamin built a tower so that more could hear—ours are broadcast towers (Internet now but satellite in decades past).
