How is it I?

Never before have I read these words of Isaiah with this reaction.

“Who hath believed our report?…there is no beauty that we should desire him.…we hid as it were our faces from him.”

It’s not that I particularly see myself in those words at this time but i realized that we would do well to consider with some regulatory whether those words apply to us and if so, in what way.
