The Lord first told the people of Alma that he would strengthen them in their bondage rather than deliver them from their bondage. The Lord knows when to do each kind of saving. It just really struck me tonight that Laura and I would be best served now to look for the ability to bear our burdens with ease rather than hoping to be directly relieved of the burdens.
