What don’t we know?

I cannot make sense of the story of Elisha cursing the children who called him names. Based on the fact that the Lord honored his cheating there must have been some reason it merit to it but I feel there must be something we don’t know about the children or about the insult they offered (“go up thou bald man”—maybe there was more meaning to that than we recognize in our culture).
