How will the Lord use things in our day that go against what we would expect Him to want to forward His work, like when He used the Assyrians to chasten Israel even though the Assyrians thought they we operating of their own accord. (They were operating of their own accord, what they failed to recognize was that they succeeded because the Lord allowed it.)
