A hard task

I can only imagine how hard it was for Pahoran to write his letter to Moroni annoying what must have felt like a failure to him and acknowledging his own indecisiveness which had exacerbated the struggles Moroni and his men were facing. At the same time, the reader can feel the weight having been lifted of his shoulders after he received Moroni’s censure with the clarity that it carried.
