Wo unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;

To turn away the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
Unrighteous decrees that prescribe grievousness and prey upon the poor, the widows, and the fatherless makes me think of welfare programs based on the premise that those in need are seeking to take advantage or that they are morally, temporally, or intellectually inferior. We have too much of that.
