What was it like to Barsabas or Matthias who, based on Peter’s stated requirements, had been with the disciples for the entirety of Jesus’ministry and been witness to his resurrection and yet had not been numbered with the twelve? In fact, what was it like to be Barsabas to be publicly identified and considered to fill the position vacated by Judas and then to be passed over.
