Why did Alma not record his own prophecy about the Nephites? Did he feel the need to tell Helaman directly rather than have him read it in the record? Did he want to give Helaman an example of what things to record? Was he not inspired with that project until he delivered the records to Helaman? (I personally doubt that last option.)
