The more I read this part of the book of Helaman the more it reminds me of our current day. Party of that night be more recognition but another part is that we are becoming more and more like these times among the Nephites. It is becoming increasingly common that those in positions of power are there for their own benefit and are not willing to forgive individual wicked people and take advantage of the poor and the humble.
