Insurance came back rejecting further coverage for Alex at the residential facility but his care team has chosen to appeal that and have given us another week before we would have to commit to private pay or else bring him home. I’m hopeful that by the end of another week we can feel good about having him home (or get the approval on appeal as the 2nd best option). If he does come home next week he would be able to attend the wedding which would be nice.
