We had planned to clear out the garage enough today to get the van inside but that was before we got tickets for Migration that we had promised for the kids behaving at the wedding. When I realized the duplicate priorities I decided to get to work on the garage while Laura was asleep. When she woke up she came to help me and we managed to get the van inside before we had to go to the movie.
And we finished the movie with a classic chaotic family move: we left Emma at the movie theater when she went to the bathroom as we were leaving. By the time Ezra got out of the bathroom I had forgotten that she had gone too and we all piled into the van—except Bex who drive separately. When Emma wasn’t noticed in the van we assumed she had gone with Bex. Thankfully a family noticed Emma and she helped them text us to say she was alone at the theater. They started with her until I got back there to pick her up.
