Today felt like I couldn’t get any traction. I was actually comparably productive relative to other days but it just felt like I was treading water. I did manage to get the bathroom basically cleaned and I got a Fitbit from Mom (she had a spare she was trying to get rid of) which was cool because last week I was thinking about getting a smartwatch to track my activity. We’ll see if this helps me be more active but the price was right.
I know part of the malaise was the cold, wet, snowy weather today and another part is that I’m still waiting to get my car back 28 days after taking it to the shop and a week since I was told it would be “hopefully tomorrow.” It’s hard to be in limbo for so long and working from home 4 out of 5 days for so long.
