I’m not sure what to say about today. I managed to get my work done for the day and I was deliberate to spend time reading rather than getting on my phone. I read a good chunk from The Boys in the Boat. I also think I found a key to getting the ActivityPub plugin working which would enable me to start doing the writing I want to be able to do (having my public writing accessible in the fediverse).
I was also able to have a small victory. I went to pump up Noah’s bike tires and found that one of the hoses for my air compressor was broken. Thanks to the heat gun I bought last fall I was able to cut the broken section off and then use the heat gun to soften the end of the tube and attach it to the coupling again so my hose is ¾ of an inch shorter but fully functional.
