It may not be technically closed but the lawsuit about the flag (anti-flag) initiative that I have been following got a ruling from the judge today denying their request for a preliminary injunction. The ruling was such that it hints strongly that the larger case with 7 claims of infringement on their first amendment rights is going to die quickly. Their legal avenues for challenging the new flag are pretty well dead for the next 3 years. (By that time the new flag will be overwhelmingly popular—especially compared to the historic flag.)
