The theme for Ward Conference today was hearts knit together in unity. During the discussion in priesthood it struck me that word unity is actually the conclusion of the word community. It seems to me that a real community must include some unifying element whether it be a shared interest or belief or simply a common location. Whatever the case, there must be something to rally around. In the eternal/gospel sense the only thing to rally around is a love it God and a common understanding of His core doctrine.
