All children of our Heavenly Father will receive the highest kingdom of glory in which they can comfortably dwell.
The focus of this church is to prepare his children for the highest level of the celestial kingdom.
The gospel of Jesus Christ challenges us to become something.
It just struck me while President Oaks was talking about the Celestial Kingdom that the Law of Consecration is not limited to mortality. The commitment to consecrate everything with which the Lord has or will bless us to the cause of building up the kingdom of God and establishing Zion will be a defining characteristic of those who will feel at home in the Celestial Kingdom and will continue to drive the choices they make and the actions they take when they are there. (And no, there is absolutely nothing in his text about any of that thought.)
We have a loving Heavenly Father who will see that we receive every blessing and every advantage that our own desires and choices allow. We also know that He will force no one into a sealing relationship against his or her will. The blessings of a sealed relationship are assured for all who keep their covenants but never by forcing a sealed relationship on another person who is unworthy or unwilling.
It’s clear that during the millennium we will receive knowledge as needed about individuals that will show us to perform sealings between those who were willing and worthy that could not take place during mortality (like a new sealing for one spouse if the other was unwilling or unworthy or a first sealing for someone who was willing and worthy who never had the mortal opportunity to be married).
