When I started walking I would have thought 12,000 steps would be hard to do on a regular day—that I would really have to plan time to make that happen but today I got that done with one lengthy walk (to the church and back but not the shortest route) but through some yard work and one walk around the block (again taking the longest version of “around the horseshoe”) I got to my target. The funny part is that I missed the front lawn again (2nd time this week) not because it needed to be mowed but because I could trim up some longer bits while getting steps in without leaving the yard. At this point I am looking at my top-end target of 20,000 steps with confidence that I can do that day in and day out to bring my body back to a more healthy state.
