Who made the record of Noah?

While Mormon is clearly writing the history of the reign of Noah in his own words as part of the abridgement I am left wondering who kept any record of the kingdom under Noah. He obviously shut his eyes to the actual danger of living near the Lamanites and I’m confident that he would have had little interest in keeping records and much less interest even in recording any of the things that Mormon passed on to us. I wonder if morning took his record primarily from things written down from the words of Alma and Limhi.
