Two more insights

I always wondered about the conversion of Limhi and his people. I knew they had been converted and that they desired baptism but postponed it until after they had joined the people of Mosiah but I didn’t know when in their afflictions they had been converted to the gospel that had been preached by Abinadi. This time I noticed the statement that they had become converted after the arrival of Ammon and his brethren. I suspect that learning the history of the people in Zerahemla and the words of king Benjamin brought about their conversion.

Over in the land of Helam I wonder if it was galling to Amulon that the people of Alma bore their burdens cheerfully even after he had threatened them with death if they prayed for deliverance. I also believe that the tenth they received to bear up their burdens with ease was instrumental in their being able to successfully stay out of reach of the armies that later pursued them.
