I never realized before that when Amulek was challenged for saying that God would not redeem His people IN their sins and he responded that he could not deny the word of God and that God could not redeem those who remained unclean Abinadi had Said the same thing before Noah and his priests. I can imagine that Alma repeated that to his people and to his son.
