A wild flock

Abinadi compares the people of Noah to a wild flock. A wild flock is one that either has no shepherd or that has rejected the direction of their shepherd. In either case, they have no protection from the wild beasts that would harass and hunt them.

We will see more and more of that same pattern today until people begin to turn to the Lord and embrace principles of civility again.
