What a day!

I didn’t have the kind of prayer this morning that I had the previous two days because we were camping. It rained most of the night so we were up at 4AM to move everything into the van and the roads were so muddy when we tried to come home that the van slid into the ditch at the side of the road. We had to walk a half mile down the road to get to a sheriff’s deputy who was unable to get any closer to us because of the impassible roads.

As if that wasn’t enough Bex blew out a tire last night so that she couldn’t drive it in the freeway this morning to come get us in Spanish Fork—she had to trade for my car at DI where Mickey had taken it since we had the van. After we hit back to American Fork we got new tires for the Impala.

The roads were so bad in fact that as of tonight the van is still up on that road although I eventually found a tow company that will retrieve it for $450. I have to take the van key to them in Ephraim at 8AM tomorrow so they can go get the van once they have the manpower (and preferably time for the road to dry out).

I made a point to get my regular scripture study and family scripture study but now I’m going to bed
