- I am very grateful for yesterday—including getting sick and being laid up for much of the day.
- Reviewing my patriarchal blessing (I had felt a couple of weeks ago that I should look to my patriarchal blessing when I didn’t have anything on my mind for prayer)
- Are teaching the gospel and blessing people to be able to fill their potential as children of God tied together? Right now that is how I am reading that section.
- If so, in what role would I be blessing people to fulfill their potential through my teaching?
- In my current role I can accomplish that through my opportunities to lead teacher council and by looking for effective ways to improve gospel teaching in the home.
- As a father I can accomplish that by finding effective ways to teach my children the gospel—the one they are generally rejecting and that they imagine they know much more about than they actually do.
Action Items
- Find ways daily to teach the gospel, not just read scriptures with the kids.
- Talk to Enoch about repentance.
