Camping can’t be perfect the first time we get there (some kind of natural law) so during the night I thought that we didn’t have a good way to cook eggs in the morning and decided that we should probably go home before breakfast. Only later did I realize that we had entirely forgotten to bring the eggs. When Ezra woke up he suggested we go straight home before breakfast because he was still full from dinner. (Works for me.) Ezra and I were all packed up before waking Noah at 6:50. We were on the road before 7AM.
I didn’t do very much during the rest of the day but I did test out my new potato salad recipe. It was very good, especially for a first try, but I’m still going to try a couple of changes to be sure about what I want to settle on.
I did manage prayer, personal scripture study, family scripture study, and couple scripture study so even with the resting it was a good, full day.
