  • Questions about how to exercise the gift to pronounce blessings of healing that I have been promised
    • Alma 15:10: “have mercy on this man, and heal him according to his faith which is in Christ.”
    • Andy sent a message late last night asking me to assist in a blessing for his shoulder today.
    • He wants “renewed momentum” on his shoulder healing.
    • I had previously been thinking, after reviewing my patriarchal blessing, about what steps I should take generally to prepare for blessings of healing as well as what preparation would be appropriate in advance of any specific blessing of healing when such an opportunity came (and this is the first one since then).
      • The one clear step in preparation was to precede the blessing with prayer to whatever degree possible and in this case I have this opportunity for prayer (and I don’t normally expect to have an opportunity for this kind of prayer prior to participating in a blessing of healing).
      • We might begin with a prayer when Brother Martin and I arrive at 11:00 this morning.
  • Is it a preparation for the future that I consistently find myself needing to be the engine of any activity in my callings? (parent, ministering, or other)
