Another major victory

Today we were supposed to play dodgeball at the amphitheater at Aspen Grove. When we got there we found that the place was drowning in hikers and that the amphitheater had been reserved by another group for a private function. In past years that has never been a problem but we’ve also gone in the middle of the week before. Lesson learned. We eventually made it way to a church parking lot in American Fork to eat lunch and socialize. The adults enjoyed it although some of the kids (Enoch and Ezra especially) got bored. The truly sad part was that Weston tried to come but he didn’t hear about us relocating to the church until we were packing up so he missed out.

My major victory today was that I discovered what was preventing me from being able to federate my political blog—the one I have been wanting to share publicly in order to get my political perspective out to a wider audience. I had to copy the site over to a subdomain without hyphens but it’s working now—while I still have time to share my reasoning for why Kamala Harris is an objectively good candidate, meaning one who could win my support even if she wasn’t running against someone as flawed (to put it nicely) as Donald Trump.
