Worthy to be called sons

What qualifies a person as worthy to be called a son?

• A male (otherwise they would be a daughter)
• Willing to follow the one calling them “son”
  • This requires trust
  • It also requires humility
• Does not view themselves as a peer to the parental figure

I’m not sure if there are other traits to consider.
