For several years I have made a point of studying each talk from General Conference before the next General Conference. I haven’t always succeeded but in those cases I have caught up after conference on top of trying to do the new talks. For the two or three most recent conferences I have added to my talk notes by gathering a list of promises and challenges that I have taken away from conference but I’ve never done anything with those—until this conference. Tonight I finished the last of 50 talks by President Nelson including reading all the footnotes of those talks. That was the first challenge after I read all the talks. We are still 3 weeks from conference and I love the difference it has made to my study. By challenging myself I knew that I couldn’t slack off during the stuff months. Now I need to take the last challenge from conference, studying Doctrine & Covenants 109.
