I started reading the Jack Smith brief where he outlines why Trump’s conduct in trying to overtime the election was not protected by presidential immunity. He starts by outlining the basic case and it is so clear that Trump has surrounded himself with a large number of people who had zero interest in the law. I’m reminded of Amlici, Amalickiah, and Jacob who each rallied their followers to try conquering their own nation by force if and after being unable to gain power according to the voice of the people.
If Trump wins with this information public—and even if he comes very close to winning—it signals a much deeper and broader problem in our nation.
