I haven’t truly been on the sidelines of this election but while I have talked about volunteering for several weeks I finally signed up today to do some phone banking tomorrow. I decided that it was time to ignore my hesitancy to talk to random strangers over the phone and just get my feet on the ground rather than talking about it and trying to let my money make a difference (seeing as I don’t have any significant amount to spare).
I hope it is a positive experience that will make me want to do more of it over the next 4 weeks.
