Lay down your weapons of war

I wonder when the native Americans last took weapons of war either offensively or defensively? Certainly it has been a long time. They have laid down their weapons of war and I wonder when or if they will ever be commanded to take them again. (Certainly it is possible considering the various prophecies of what the Lord may need to do in the last days.)
