Repetition

Mormon 7 is really the same message and the same audience as 3 Nephi 29 which is a reminder that this book has a purpose and that Mormon was intent on fulfilling that purpose by repeating the message to future readers—and especially the descendants of Lehi —that this was their opportunity to repent and return to the faith of their fathers.
