I talked to Mom about needing a new car soon and asked if she would be able to help me make it happen. We talked about the process and she encouraged me to not write off the possibility of getting a completely new car if that turns out to be the best option. She also said she has money available to help once I figure out what cost I’m looking at. (I expect that would be money for a down payment while I take on the resulting monthly payments.) That makes me feel more comfortable that I will be able to make this all work.
