Behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things. Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy. And the Messiah cometh in the fulness of time, that he may redeem the children of men from the fall. And because that they are redeemed from the fall they have become free forever, knowing good from evil; to act for themselves and not to be acted upon.
2 Nephi 2:24-26
That bold section is the entire plan of salvation.
It is obvious that Jacob was inclined to follow in the steps of Nephi rather than any of his other older brothers. Are there things that Nephi did to help Jacob want to follow in his path? I’m trying to figure out if I can do anything that will encourage the kids to follow the good examples in their lives (like mine and Savannah’s and some of Laura’s) rather than following the loud examples (which right now are not good—like Alex and to a lesser degree Mickey).
