I didn’t know what to pray about right now.

• What about the neighborhood men’s group idea? Should I take some action toward starting that?
  • That feels like such a strong idea, one that has immense value both individually and collectively.
  • It would take a sustained effort to get it going.
  • Todd Stevenson already piloteda single bookclub along these lines for me but we need something more widespread where people have options about what to participate in.
  • This may be my Woodbadge project.

Action Items

1. Contact Ron LeBaron to begin coordinating our teaching/preparation.
2. Contact Eli Clemens about a date night.
3. Contact David Newcome to learn more about his experience with developing solid friendships with other men.
   • I need to strike before the iron cools (it’s been 2 weeks since that powerful quorum discussion).
   • For that up by talking with President Hill about the idea of starting interest groups among the quorum members—with an emphasis that we want it to be a community thing supported and encouraged by the quorum leadership, not a quorum thing. We want to explicitly invite people who are not active members of the church and we want interest groups that aren’t centered on religious activities/themes.
