As faithful elders of the church (keyword “faithful”) it shall be given to know the signs of the times and the signs of the coming of Christ. I suspect this isn’t just for priesthood-holding men. I personally believe this promise is more for anyone who is faithful to their covenants and mature in their understanding of the gospel.
