Quietly struggling
- More time opened up in the mornings when I caught up on pocket frog sets and I have added exercise to my morning routine but my prayers are still sporadic.
- I know a big part of that is my closet being messy and full of stuff.
- I cleared space in the garage to exercise but it occurs to me that I could also use the space out there for prayer.
- Our finances are tapped out
- I have increased a number of expenses but all directly to benefit our long-term situation (vacations, family culture, stable car).
- Laura should go to work for her own spiritual and emotional development as well as setting a new example for the kids but that would also be a huge financial benefit even if the money was limited.
- Laura has been waking up earlier since changing her sleep meds and is choosing to get up rather than go back to sleep—that’s a positive development.
- Our kids (focused on the youngest 4) need some direction and real activity in their lives.
- I hope that Emma gets engaged with band and her clarinet.
