When Moroni offered terms for a prisoner exchange Ammoron accepted those terms. Normally that would be the end of the negotiation but in this case Moroni decided to demand more. Actually, he didn’t demand more, he simply took unilateral action by liberating the prisoners Ammoron had taken so that no exchange was necessary or possible.
Sometimes we have to get pushed until we will pursue a new approach rather than continue on the path of slow attrition.
