What kind of humility and faith would it require for Zeezrom to call upon two men who he had feared were killed because of his sin and request that they hall him? Some might think him brash and s brash man might dare to do such a thing but wouldn’t have the faith to be healed as Zeezrom did. A man who was humble but not remarkably humble wouldn’t dare request a healing. He might request a visit to lay his mind to rest but that would likely be the end of his request.
Zeezrom must have asked because of his faith but been humble enough to accept whatever response might come.
Within six months of alma and Amulek being freed from the prison in Ammonihah the city was destroyed in one day by the Lamanites.
I get the impression that the people of Lamoni, including Lamoni himself, were a timid people. Other Lamanites picked on them and Lamoni’s father seemed to have limited respect for Lamoni when they meet on the road. Perhaps they had been compelled by their nature to be more humble than many others among the Lamanites.
