A young man may skeptically be called a son to his father or his Heavenly Father simply as a heritage of his birth but that title of son is less telling than actually being worthy to be called a son of their father or another mentor or father figure or even their Heavenly Father or their Savior.
To be worthy to be called a son he must demonstrate by his actions and attitude his willingness to submit to the authority of the father and deference to the wisdom and experience of the father.
