The people asked Jesus to leave because of the swine that went crazy and killed themselves when he cast the devils out of the wild men. They feared that he might ruin people financially (the swineherd probably felt economically devastated). I’m sure Jesus knew the economic impact of allowing the spirits to enter the swine but he also recognized the much greater worth of the men (or man) who would be freed as a result.
Perhaps Jesus’ disciples recognized the relative value that He placed on the lives of wild men vs tame swine.
The woman who was healed by touching Jesus’ clothing probably received further spiritual benefit from having Him acknowledge her and her healing.
